common questions

How do I report something or block someone?

Choose Report or block on a running or saved hour, or on its browser invitation. Select the activity or person and send a private report. For a person, you can also choose Block and confirm. Blocking preserves earned time, stops future shared joining and co-hosting with that account, and leaves or removes current shared participation. It does not end other people’s activities.

Manage blocked accounts in Profile → Safety & blocked accounts in the app, or in the browser’s safety panel. Unblocking does not rejoin an hour. Blocking applies to an account, not a physical person; a new account or cleared guest browser identity can appear again.

We check support daily and respond to urgent reports within 24 hours. Email support@thesehours.com with your report reference for follow-up or an appeal. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services; reports are not an emergency service.

I forgot my password

Reset your password with an email code, then return to the app to sign in. Your saved hours stay with your account.

I did not receive my sign-in email

Check spam and promotions folders, confirm the email address is correct, and wait a few minutes before trying again. Open the newest sign-in email on the same device whenever possible.

A shared-hour link will not open

Ask the host for a fresh QR code or link and check that the hour has not ended. Shared-hour links currently open securely in your browser, with no app or account required.

What should I send with a bug report?

Your phone model, iOS or Android version, the approximate time of the problem, and the steps that led to it are enough. Screenshots are useful, but remove private information first.
